Winter for the Carino Crew, means a time to take a breath and regenerate for the next season. This involves slipping the yacht, which is an intensive week of sanding, painting and polishing. Getting all those maintenance jobs that have cropped up in the summer all fixed and sorted. It is a great time for crew bonding, with each other and the boat.
It is also a time for the crew to escape on their adventures, whether it is sailing away, skiing mountains or hiking trails. Our adventures will be shared, and laughed about at the beginning of next season.
Winter is also a time to explore our own back yard, Northland and New Zealand. What an excuse to do research for our guests! Last we I found a little gem only 30mins from Paihia. Taronui Bay it is fantastic place to have a swim and a picnic. Taronui Bay
