Carino Wildlife Cruises wins tourism award

On Wednesday 28 July 2021 in Christchurch we were one of 12 winners of the Qualmark 100% Pure NZ Experience 2021 award.

“It was a complete surprise for us, and an honor to be included amongst with the amazing finalists”

The judges said “A small, dedicated team focused on responsible and sustainable tourism with a community and nature focus that is driven from the heart and a genuine desire to have a positive impact.”

This award has motivated us to think outside the box and go further, with this exciting project. The rewards from experiencing and being part of this activity are more than we could have hoped for. This is much more than financial.

This is making a difference to kids lives, providing a platform for marine conservation and our values and principles of eco tourism are upheld.
